In conjunction with its sister company in Europe, UBMi, UBM Asia organises several leading exhibitions in Asia for the pharmaceutical industry. The CPhI events focus on the market for pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates, the ICSE events serve the market for pharmaceutical outsourcing and contract research, while P-MEC events cover pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and technology. These three inter-related exhibitions are each held in Shanghai, Tokyo and Mumbai and are must-attend events for the respective pharmaceutical industries in these countries. CPhI China/ICSE China is co-organised with the China Chamber of Commerce of Medicines & Health Product Importers and Exporters. It has become the most influential international and professional event for the pharmaceutical manufacturing and allied industries not only in China but also in the whole of Asia. Meanwhile, P-MEC China plays an important role in providing opportunities to China's manufacturers, leading China's enterprises to the world. In 2008, the combined events will host over 1,500 exhibitors and numerous high level academic conferences, seminars and international forums to illuminate the present and future of pharmaceuticals from every angle.
